This special happening is set to unfold at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern on Friday, September 21st and Saturday, September 22nd. As it is the first year for this top notch occasion the offerings will be brand new, a refreshing addition to the event scene and truly memorable. This event will be off the chain! More than 3 dozen of the 200 wines poured on Saturday have retail price points over $50 a bottle! There will be top notch wines, and great eats from some of the Main Line’s BEST restaurants – Alfredo’s, George’s, Creeds, General Warren Inne, Xilantro, A La Maison, Matador and more! Plus – a souvenir wine glass!
My friends and I would love the chance to hang out, try delicious food, and learn about wine. Since we’re grad students we don’t really have the budget to go to fancy restaurants and think it would be a great opportunity to learn more about the exciting cuisine in the city!
I have family coming in from California that weekend, and I honestly couldn’t think of a better event for us all to go to than the MLT Food & Wine Affair. My friends are some of the most important people in my life. I have been searching for a way to thank them for being so supportive, and this would be the perfect event to treat them to because they love wine and great food. They would never allow me to purchase tickets for all of them on my own, but if I won this contest, they would have no choice but to be my guests!

I love trying new wines, especially new reds (I’m really curious about Louis Jadot Beaujolais 2010 since it’s approaching that time of year!) and I love good, fresh, healthy food. I would be BEYOND excited to have a chance to sample some new wines that I’ve never had, as well as try some different foods! I am a huge fan of wine, but have never experienced a wine tasting. I would love to attend. Not only could I sample all the delicous food and wines, but I’m new to the area and it would be a great opportunity for me to meet new people and find out about the great food in the area.
I would LOVE to wine this prize pack for my friends and I because we always enjoy going to different places to sample wines and local cuisine. This would be truly an amazing gift to give my friends as we all are usually tight on budget, not getting out as much as we would like!
